He focuses on all aspects of real estate transactions, representing buyers, sellers and lending institutions in both commercial and residential transactions. Mark’s practice includes extensive work in landlord/tenant matters. He acts as examining counsel for several title insurance providers, and counsels clients in the formation of business entities and the purchase and sale of closely held businesses. He provides counsel on a wide range of licensing matters and represents clients before administrative agencies.

Mark graduated with a BA from Syracuse University in 1981 and obtained his JD from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1984. After graduation, Mark became the first Risk Manager for the City of Myrtle Beach, SC. Mark returned to the Syracuse area to raise his family and enter the private practice of law. In 1988, he opened a general practice in Syracuse and expanded to include a Cazenovia office in 1994.

Mark is a member of the Onondaga and New York State Bar associations. He serves as an arbitrator in Syracuse City Court and for the Onondaga County Bar Association in their fee dispute arbitration program. Mark has also volunteered as a judge for the Syracuse University College of Law moot court program.

Mark serves as treasurer and as board member of the Fair Housing Council of Central New York and previously served on the board of directors of the National Kidney Foundation of CNY. He served for ten years on the board of the Fabius Pompey Recreation Organization and continues to volunteer for several Fabius Pompey area civic and youth organizations.

He has been the volunteer assistant varsity boys basketball coach for Fabius Pompey since 2002 and has coached AAU basketball for Central Western at many age levels. When not otherwise involved, he tries to follow the endeavors of his quadruplets who are currently attending Hobart William Smith College or visiting his older son who resides in Cambridge, MA.
